4th of July Fun, Billings & Beyond 2017
Most of us have our favorites on just where to spend the 4th celebrating America’s Independence. Camping with friends and family is a long time tradition, while others enjoy parades, picnics and fireworks. Check out some of our favorites below and start your own traditions or find a new favorite
- Red Lodge MT Home of Champions Rodeo runs from 2, 3, and 4th. Parades each day at noon with Rodeo following. Tickets can be purchased at www.redlodgerodeo.com . HINT: if you are going up for the parade, leave Billings around 9am to avoid traffic and enjoy some time on main street.
- Laurel, MT offers a full day of celebrating. Starting with a Pancake breakfast at 9am, arts and craft vendors, and a kiddie parade at 10am. The Grand Parade starts at 11am with fireworks at dark. Laurel Firemen put on the display with a reputation of a grand show.
- Cody Stampede Rodeo starts July 1st and runs through the 4th. The Wild West Extravaganza is a 3 day festival of Arts, Crafts and Food vendors.
- Check out your local area Chamber of Commerce for more great events.
